Sustainable Fashion: New In For Autumn

Happy Sunday! This is not a typical haul. It´s a haulternative, an alternative to the non sustainable, fast fashion hauls floating around the internet. I am proud to say that I sew a lot of the items in this haul using organic fabric only, and the ones I did buy are either second-hand, or from fair fashion brands. Sustainability for the win!

The cosiest jumper(s)

I was on the hunt for some new jumpers for my fall and winter wardrobe, but finding ones without wool in them was a struggle. So I decided to sew them myself and love how they turned out. I made one in beige and one in an off-white colour, both from organic cotton fleece and let me tell you the softness of this fabric is unbelievable! I love the wide turtleneck and boxy fit it they have, plus despite being made out of cotton they are really warm… autumn haul, haulternative, autumn haulternative, fall haul, fall haulternative, autumn capsule wardrobe, fall capsule wardrobe, capsule wardrobe for autumn, capsule wardrobe for fall, minimal capsule wardrobe, vegan outfit, vegan fashion blogger, capsule wardrobe blogger, capsule wardrobe blog, capsule wardrobe, capsule wardrobe update, sustainable style blog, vegan fashion blog, vegan style blog, vegan fashion blogger, vegan style blogger

The denim shirt

A great second-hand find from Asos Marketplace (from Polo Ralph Lauren ) and perfect for layering. The cut is minimal wich I like a lot, no pockets or any unnecessary seams, just a nice classic shirt… I love to wear it undone with a t-shirt underneath and grey jeans. A really laid back, easy way of wearing double denim…

The only trousers I need

I happily live in jeans most days, but I think simple black trousers are such a versatile item to have. They look great with sneakers or loafers and easily dress up a casual outfit. These are from the sustainable polish brand Elementy. But I am still not sure wether I should keep them or not. They fit lovely, but the fabric is thin and that means they are not really suitable for German Winter. Or maybe I could wear some tights underneath?

The Striped Replacement

This long-sleeved t-shirt is from the fair fashion brand Armed Angels and it´s actually a replacement for the red and white striped number I had in my Capsule for Autumn. It just was a bit too short and too tight around the chest, so I decided to donate it. This new one fits me perfectly and is made out of Tencel, a sustainable fabric that is really soft on the skin…

A dress that I like to wear?!

Yes dresses aren´t usually my thing, but this one is an exception! I love the statement sleeves, the comfy & stretchy fabric and the length of it is good for my height as well. I just feel great when I am wearing it and it´s from a fair fashion brand. What more could you ask for?!..

A light coloured jacket

Another item I sew for my Autumn Capsule! I wanted a light coloured jacket, because all my others are quite dark ( except one red raincoat ). This one is, again, made of the organic cotton fleece and I already worn it several times. It´s super easy to pair with other colours and I love the minimal vibe… I hope you enjoyed this autumn haulternative! 😉 Make sure to check out last Sunday´s outfit which is all about the black blazer or have a look at my Autumn Capsule Wardrobe ( I updated it and now it includes all the new items )…. I wish you the best day ever!
