Shoes, shoes shoes…they can change any outfit completely, right? You want a sporty vibe?- Go for some sneakers. You need to make your outfit look a bit more put together? – add in a pair of loafers. So last week I showed you the outerwear of my summer capsule wardrobe ( check that post out here ), today we continue the fun with the shoes, are you ready? Ok lets do this! 🙂
I wanted a pair of loafers for years, not kidding, but I never found a pair that fit my insanely narrow feet…until I stumbled over this beauties on the Dr. Martens website a few weeks ago. Look at that beautiful leather texture and the cute tassels! Dr. Martens is a brand that I absolutely love to support! They make sure that everyone that is part of the supply chain is treated with dignity and that they have minimal impact on the environment when producing the shoes…
Next the comfiest shoes of them all – the Birkenstock sandals. They are deeply hated by a lot of people – but I personally really love mine for those hot, lazy summer days, and the quality is amazing! Mine are due to facing their third summer and they are still in perfect condition…What do you think about them?! ( please excuse my feet, they were not summer ready at the day of shooting 😉 )
My mint coloured Adidas Gazelle are perfect for infusing some colour into my outfits + they are really comfy and look great with jeans ( which is basically all I wear on my bottom half )
My black, patent Dr. Martens are kind of my shoes for every occasion..they never fail! They work with so many different outfits and can handle any weather… Just the best shoes ever, basically 😉
You can´t do summer without some dirty canvas sneaker, right? These beige, plateau soled ones from Victoria look pretty much the same like the ones from Superga everyone has, except they are much cheaper and as good in quality! I´m quite petite and I love that they give me a few extra centimetres in height 🙂 I worn them a lot last summer and really like the used look they have now…
So that´s it! These are all my shoes for my summer capsule wardrobe!
A little update about the progress of my capsule: I´m still working on the tops ( why is it so hard to find a red striped, boxy t-shirt? ) and I´m also looking for some trousers or a skirt that is suitable for hot days as well…I hope to be finished some time in May…can´t wait to share the rest of it with you! 🙂
How do you like the whole capsule wardrobe thing so far? Do you enjoy the look inside my wardrobe and me chatting about the pieces? Let me know in the comments…
I wish you the best day ever!
