Sustainable Style: New In For Summer

Hello everyone! As I mentioned in my Capsule Wardrobe Recap last Wednesday, my aesthetics and style changed since summer started. I gravitate more towards neutral shades like black, white and dark blue now, not so much  towards all the bright colours I was wearing a lot before. And because of that, I put a few of my colourful summer pieces into storage, and purchased some neutral coloured ones to fill the gaps. And yes, the new bag wasn’t planned, but I couldn’t resist 😉 All items are sustainable, fair produced and vegan…

The best white t-shirt

I love a good white t-shirt. It´s classic, it looks good on everyone and with about everything, in short: a good white t-shirt is always a winner! I already own white t-shirts that I really like, but the one I got recently is the best one I ever had! The cut is just AMAZING! Sure if you love tight fitting clothes, then this one probably is not your cup of tea, but I love a good oversized, boxy fit and this t-shirt has the best one I ever seen! It´s from the fair brand Funktionschnitt, a german based brand that focuses on good quality, amazing fits and minimal design. And let me tell you, they know how to make a t-shirt you never want to take off again! The quality is on point & the design is timeless, yet modern. The one I am wearing here is actually an unisex t-shirt and is from their special statement collection against cyber bullying. It says “sweetheart” on the chest, which is an appeal to be kind to each other, may it be online or in real life. Love that! I am wearing this t-shirt in my newest outfit post so check it out there if wanna see more photos…

É stands for Ethical

I am usually not a fan of black clothing, but I saw this black t-shirt at Dariadeh and fell in love with it. It´s a simple, relaxed fitting t-shirt with a white “É” on the chest, I love this detail because it is a subtle statement for ethical clothing without being pushy. The fair brand is from the austrian vegan blogger Dariadaria and has some really cute t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies at a good price point.

Versatile & Breezy

I wear my polka dot trousers all the time, and because I love the cut of them so much, I sew another pair in plain black. They are especially great for pairing them with a patterned top, plus they are perfect for surviving the heatwave!fair summer haul

Sans Beast

There are a lot of vegan bag brands out there right now, but not many that I really love. In fact the aussie brand Sans Beast might be my fave one so far. Their designs are really cool and effortless with a sporty vibe, all the right attitude and amazing quality. My bag and strap came neatly packed in a really nice navy blue dust bag with logo and a personal postcard from the founder and her team. Such a lovely touch that really made the shopping experience special! They said, that this was the first bag they ever shipped to Germany, and I love the idea that I am the only one in my country walking around with this gorgeous bag at the moment! The Silver replacement

After 7 years of wear my black Chucks were just done. But because I am mainly wearing sneakers in summer, a replacement was needed. I found the perfect pair at Veja. A fair and sustainable sneaker brand from France. I went for the silver colour and looove how versatile they are, plus they are super comfortable & vegan! fair summ
