Outfit: The Kenzo Tiger

So I think most of you know that H&M made a collaboration with the parisian couture house Kenzo. The collection hit the stores last week on november third and was, with a few exceptions, sold out in a couple of hours. In the past I never wanted to get something from the collections they have made with other designers, or I missed the date and everything was sold out, but this time there was a piece I REALLY wanted. I saved the date, and set an alarm early the night before to be online on time for the release. Sadly I could not enter the H&M site that morning, because there was SO much traffic. I was quite frustrated, but I updated the site again and again and then, after 45 minutes of trying, I finally was able to break through! I was very happy because by this time the piece I wanted was still available and I virtually ran to the checkout fearing it would be gone before I could purchase one.  It was quite nerve-racking I can tell you, but in the end worth it! I even did a little happy dance in my room after the successful hunt 😉 Now let´s get into the outfit:

Colour Chat: A lot of black going on in this outfit! The little bright accents are much needed to make the look a bit more playful and happy. Special shout-out to these chain link glitter socks, they´re just awesome I think!

Texture Talk: The most amazing texture in this outfit can be found in the trousers. They have a snakeskin-embossed material, which adds something really special. The bold texture gives a nice contrast to the smooth one of the sweatshirt and helps making the outfit more fashionable.

Sweatshirt-H&M x Kenzo – sold out ( you can try to get one on eBay though ) or get another expensive(!) Kenzo sweater here

For me this outfit is something different from what I normally wear. I never choose a combination as dark as this one usually. But the little colourful accents made it work perfectly fine for me! Did you buy something from the Kenzo x H&M collection? Do you like the outfit?

I wish you the best day ever!
