Birthday Weekend In Switzerland – What I Pack

Hey guys! So it´s my Birthday this Friday and I am going to spent a Weekend in Switzerland to celebrate. I honestly can´t wait! I love the Alpes, I always have. As a kid I spent a week in the Alpes with my parents every year, so it´s quite a nostalgic trip. I am always curious about what people pack for a trip, so I thought you might find it interesting to see what I bring with me. The weather is always quite unpredictable in the Alpes, so being prepared for all kinds of temperatures is key. That means: layering pieces and waterproof shoes are your best friend!

I love to bring basic sweatshirts with me when I travel. They don´t crease and you can throw them on whenever you need a a warmer layer on top. When it comes to t-shirts, I always pack a few more then I need, because you just never know, you know?! 😉 Plus they don´t need much space in your luggage… what to pack

Jeans are just the best, they can handle any activity and are suitable for most weather conditions… what to pack

A raincoat is essential! Like I said, the weather in the Alpes is quite unpredictable and can change quickly so a rainproof jacket is always a good idea to pack when hiking.  I also bring my leather jacket ( not in my Capsule, I got it long before I became vegan & wasn’t able to find a good substitute yet! ) for when it´s nice, but I need another layer….

Comfort & waterproof fabrics are key!

A backpack is way more practical and better for your back when you have to walk a lot, so I bring my trusty Fjallräven Mini Kanken. Sunnies are a must, too. The Sun in the Alpes can be intense!

Did you ever visit Switzerland? Did you like it? Leave me a comment 🙂 There won´t be an outfit post this Sunday, because I wanna spent this trip away from my laptop, but I am gonna share some photos of my trip next week! While you wait for that, check out my Summer Capsule Wardrobe or last Sunday´s outfit

I wish you the best day ever!
